Many coaches switched to delivering group sessions online. But as we all know, each business has different needs so you may ask, how to a cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all group coaching help YOUR business?
In my view, it doesn’t. Sure, there are some things that are common to all businesses like making sure your books balance and that you are receiving payment for your invoices on time. But that is what a bookkeeper does. It’s not what a business coach does.
Anyone who has worked with me over the years, will know how I talk and analyze each of my clients as their own specific entity. Together we look at your goals, ambitions, your current practices, sales and profits.
We assess what you can do in the short-term for some quick wins and plan how you and your team can help you achieve your own particular aims.
Again, my existing clients know that after each meeting, I send you a short email summarizes our progress and the next action steps. This is based only on your own needs and aims. It is not an out-of-the-box response for everyone in the group.
Why Do I Do 1-2-1Coaching?
The answer is easy.
In all conscience, I cannot suggest the same aims, plans or actions, for all of my clients. Some may want to sell their business in five years, others might want to double sales, while yet more are looking to increase their team so they can step back a bit from the day-to-day work. Each is different, so my suggestions and your actions must be different.
Does The 1-on-1 Approach Work?
Rather than me tell you how good it is, I will leave it to a client to give his experience of working 1-on-1 with me.
“I am a straight shooter – so, it is important to have a business advisor on my team that understands and can support the speed I work through things. When you have a clear focus on who your clients are and invest in the right tools (equipment – software), coupled up with the ability to effect task delegation, remarkable outcomes can result. Partnering with Jerome has allowed us to completely review and structure our business for growth and with solid controls in place to go to the next level of management, while driving the budgeting function for profit to maintain and grow shareholder equity, since we all know that growth takes cash.
I would recommend owner managers that are wanting to shift gears and want become business owners in the true sense, to get in touch and you will not look back.”
